The Zoom-Out on Conflict WORKSHOP
The perspectives you adopt of yourself and others have a huge impact on your experience of conflict and your ability to deal with conflict effectively.

A Personal Perspective
Have you ever encountered a conflict that you avoided tackling or wished you’d handled better? Did it cause you stress or bad feeling? Have you experienced a long-standing unresolved conflict that has held you or your team back? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you will find this workshop of practical value.

Conflict in the Workplace
Conflict is a natural and common occurrence in the workplace and yet unless trained, we are not always well equipped to deal with it. This can lead to unnecessary waste, bad feeling and reduces performance and wellbeing.
This workshop develops skills in classifying conflict, keeping a balanced perspective and providing options for resolving a conflict.
You’ll learn about the Zoom-Out concept and how this is applied to conflict. We’ll have fun with some common real-world scenarios and do some “Conflict Source Mapping” using the Zoom-Out Conflict Model.
Conflict in the Agile Workplace
If you work in an agile organisation you will know that business agility relies on a high degree of collaboration, autonomy, cross-functional teams and self-organisation. The number and frequency of face-to-face interactions is higher with agile. It can also rely on adapting to new ways of working and continually improving. In this context, the scope for conflict is potentially even higher. Thus increasing the value of this workshop even further!
